Maida Hundeling stars in Puccini’s Turandot, in a return to one of her signature and critically acclaimed roles, this season at the Slovak National Theatre (Slovenské národné divadlo).

The opera is on stage throughout the season – dates are as follows –  4 December (2016), 10 January, 8 February and 16 May (2017). Maestro Rastislav Štúr conducts performances through January, and Maestro Dušan Štefánek conducts the performance on the 8th of February.

Soprano Maida Hundeling gives a powerful yet nuanced performance in the title role. This Turandot isn’t just cold and remote.
