Maida Hundeling starts 2019 with an exciting performance of Tosca in Bratislava on January 8. Mario Cavaradossi is sung by Peter Berger and Alexander Krasnov is Scarpia.
Afterwards, she travels to Ostrava, where she stars as Desdemona in Otello on January 11 and February 10, opposite Titusz Tóbisz in the title role and Martin Bárta as Iago.
She then sings the soprano solo in Verdi’s Requiem with the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra in Bratislava on February 22. The other soloists are Anna Maria Chiuri, Paolo Lardizzone and Peter Mikuláš, with Peter Valentovič conducting. To listen to this live performance, visit this link.
